My hair is almost to my waist and it is naturally very curly. I have been wanting something different, but I dont want to look like I have a clown wig on either. Please any sugestions!

I want to cut my curly hair but not sure? If you have curly hair to your waist, u can probably afford to lose some length. Ur hair will probably look a lot healthier. Try about right below your chest. Thats a good length for curly hair, and its still pretty long.

I had short hair a few times, and I had to spend about 30 minutes straightening it every day lest it look like Napoleon Dynamite. Shoulder length with a few layers can be pretty. Frizzing serum and pomade will keep the poof down.

My advice: Short hair is not the best if your hair is naturally curly. I have naturally curly hair too and mine is like the first 1 and I like it OK. You might also get some hair magazines the celebrity ones are cool!

I let my cousin who is a hair stylist cut it to about shoulder length and I absolutely love it. It has more of a fun vibe now and is a ton easier to manage. I wouldn't go much shorter than that though because it can end up like a huge puffball if you are not careful.

Try cutting it to just above shoulder length. That way it will be weighed down just enough to be less fly-away and offer more styles, but it won't be too weighted down on your shoulders.
My hair is naturally curly too, and I usually use hot rollers on it to *tame* the curls down a little and make my hair look less frizzed. I also keep it one length instead of layered, because I like the bobbed look and it's easier to grow back out.
And it looks sort of Cleopatra-y with wavy/curly hair. You can straighten your hair sometimes for a different look and it will work because the hair is one length.
Go to the grocery store and check out the Curly Hairstyles magazine. There's at least one, usually. They will give you ideas for a look that fits your face and suits how much time you want to spend styling your hair.
