How to deal with curly/frizzy hair?

I have curly hair. It tends to get really frizzy. I don't know what to do. Many people tell me to straighten it but it never works. By the end of the day it frizzes back again. It seems there is no way to get the frizz out. I usually wear it up every day but I would like to waer it down without having it frizz .

If you straighten it and it STILL frizzes, it might be because of your straightener. Try going to Sally beauty supply and buying one there. They might be expensive, but they're worth it! And if you don't want to straighten you natural curls, I'd use this stuff called 'sunsilk de-frizz'. It's in a green bottle, %26amp; you can get it at pretty much any drugstore. You put it on your hair when its wet and let it air dry. It gives you pretty waves and curls without a lot of frizz. well, good luck.Hope I helped!!

When it's wet, don't towel-dry it. Scrunch it with a paper towel instead. :) It helps prevent flyaways and frizz and makes each individual ringlet look better.

Also, when it's still damp, apply a little bit of John Frieda's Frizz-ease. It works like a charm!

First use a thicker conditioner in the shower, and only detangle your hair n the shower, because when you do it outside it causes more damage and more frizz. Then don't comb your hair, or towel dry it rigourously. Apply a defrizzing or smoothing cream and don't touch your hair while it dries, and try not to go out because the extra movement and wind will add frizz.

Hope this helps

I have hair that is naturall SUPER curly and it used to get frizzy. I have used a great number of hair products to find which ones work for me. Everyones hair is different, and the products I use may not work for you, but I have found that using Biosilk Silk therapy after washing my hair (I like Neutrogena) and using the Neutrogena leave in creme conditioner helps - then depending on how you want to fix your hair - straight or curly - straight, on top of the previous products, I use Fantastic Sams Smoothing Gel and a Revlon hair straightening iron (I find that their irons get really hot and are inexpensive, and the hotter the iron, the better for stubborn curly frizzy hair). If wearing curly, I like to use Aussie GEL, not mouse or spray gel. Make sure it is alcohol free, too, b/c it dries out your hair. If your hair is naturally curly and you fix it that way, make sure not to stick your fingers in it and play with it too much, it lends a hand to getting frizzies. One more thing, when straightening, do small sections at at time, and take your time. I find that helps. Sorry reply was so lengthy.

Use Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz control and Pantene PRo-V Restoratives Frizz Control Extra serum. Also Wash and condition your hair using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Wavy and curly hair tends to be drier than straight hair. Comb hair in shower while conditioner is still in. Never brush or towel dry hair. Instead, air dry or diffuse. Put Garnier Fructis Soft Curl Cream Apply the cream all over your hair top, bottom and sides and scrunch it, dry in th shade, you dont want it to become too dry! Spray hair lightly with an anti-frizz spray.

That should help a lot and when you come out of the shower let your hair air dry or use a diffuser, so you could have nice frizzless curls. You can also apply some baby oil to your hair and it will be frizzless.

The absolute best is a product called Curls Up from FX Special Effects. It has a defrizzant in it that works great! You can get Curls Up at Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, etc. You'll love it!
