I have a great pair of GHD's but where I have been straigtening for so long I am finding it hard to make my hair nice and curly again??? how can I get it nice without looking like I have just got out of bed?

maybe you could get a hair cut, and get it cut into short layers.my daugters hair is naturaly curly, but she straightens it every day(and it stayed straight even if she left it to dry naturaly) until recently, she got it cut this way and her curls are back!!!!

straightining your hair everyday shouldnt alter the natural structure of it.

Maybe its just got to long and the length is dragging out the curls?

try getting it cut and see if them curls return!

I have this exact same problem, and ive asked the same question! My hair doesnt curl up like it used to, so im steering clear of the ghds for a good while, to see if my hair will come back to life.

I have very curly hair which I straighten very frequently and I've noticed the same thing, especially now my hair is longer. I've changed the products that I use, and I think I've cracked it by using the following:

I know it sounds like a lot, but it works like a charm and stops your hair from getting too dry, which, being curly and if you're straightening it a lot, can be a real problem.

I've also got very curly hair, i sometimes straighten it and sometimes let it curl. before i wash my hair, i decide what i want to do, if i decide to have curly hair today this is what i do: (and it works) wash your hair with shampoo for curly hair, then when you towel dry your hair, don't put presure on from the towel, just press your hair lightly with the towel, kind of scrunch it. and i don't blowafe it, its curls best when i just let it dry.

well that happened to me and i used hairl gel...if not i would use hair mousse

Try a 'sea salt spray' Bumble %26amp; Bumble beach spray (blue bottle) or Garnier fruitis Sea salt spray (bright green %26amp; yellow) - the cheaper option, also offer a gel and a wax (difficult to use and doesnt mould very well)

Wash your hair and apply these then scrunch it to give it texture. When i do mine, if time permits i put the spray in then plait/braid my hair. Tie it up let it dry a bit then take them out and i get a more defined curl.

The only thing with these is that you should probably condition your hair more throughly then normal becuase of the sea salt other then that they are great.

I have natural curly hair, but, I have kept it long for about 2 yrs by straightening it, it is now down the middle of my back.

But if I Ever want to go back to the curly part, all I really have to do is wash, condition, and let it dry.

I usually wash it at night and let it dry overnight.
