I want my curly hair to be wavy and flat not poofy and frizzy.

To get you hair flat and wavy you should plats in it. They are just big braids. But when you or whoever plats your hair does it make sure to use like gel or spritz so it can hold and that will also control the frizz. When the gel or spritz is done drying take the plats down and if it is done correctly your hair should be wavy and flat. (if you want you can leave the plats in until you have to go somewhere because the longer you leave them in the deeper the wave is going to be.) Oh yeah and don't make the plats too big.

braid it while its wet then let it dry and take it out. dont brush it once you take it out or itll just frizz.
