I just had a dominican blowout w/ cut %26amp; thermal style last wednesday. I have taken good care of it and only used my flat iron once in the past week.

I have spiral-y, biracial, naturally curly hair that I have oiled hair to condition and protect it from the weather. But I feel like it needs to be washed. Should I wait longer or is one week long enough for curly textured hair?

Honestly, go as long as you feel comfortable. If it starts to look greasy or if you start seeing flakes in your hair, it's time to wash it. im black and do the same thing to my hair (no relaxer = pain in the ***)...prettty much i guess until you feellike doing it again (or if you go to a salon when u want it re-done) um i usually wash my hair once a week..the longest i'll wait is 2 weeks. then its just disgusting.
