How do layers and side swept bangs look on wavy/curly medium/long hair? Help!?

I am almost 15 and I am in big need of a haircut. I really like the way layers look with side swept bangs. But I don't know... I usually straighten my hair but I know it damages it so I'm going to try to stay with my curly hair. But the layers and bangs are killing me! I want them so bad! Would I need to straighten my hair for the layers and bangs to look good? How would it look with curly hair? If I do get side swept bangs, would I always have to straighten them? And would my hair be always to the side with these bangs?

A cut with side swept bangs is very pretty and flexible. you can do so much!! (i have one myself) and you dont need to worry about straightening your whole hair, just pass an iron thorugh your bangs and leave the rest curly. easy and painless. good luck. =)

i just found a new shampoo/conditioner and it brings out my curls without the poof! i have side bangs and yesterday i wore them with my hair pulled back in like a partial ponytail, i loved it!

it will look good both ways i have both layers and side swept bangs my hair is kindve wavy but i straiten it every day. but it will look fine with curly hair.....be careful when you straiten your bangs it will fry them really bad.

i have wavy hair with layers and side bangs. i don't straighten my bangs, i usually use a brush or run my hand through my bangs to make them straight. with my hair it looks more natural then if i use a straightener.
